Learn Basic Construction Skills!

Our 900-hour program provides entry-level skills in a wide variety of construction topics through classroom training, hands-on lab training and project site hands-on learning.

Instructor: Don Adams

Participants earn National Center for Construction Education and Research, Construction Technology certification and complete 10 hours of OSHA Safety.

Topics taught include but are not limited to:

• Basic Construction Safety
• Floors and Walls
• Hand Tools /Power Tools
• Blueprints/Site Layout
• Masonry
• Ceiling and Roofing
• Windows, Doors, and Siding
• Residential Wiring/Basic Electricity
• Basic Plumbing
• Furnaces – Gas, Electric, etc.
• Insulating/Comfort & Economy
• Resume Preparation/Interview Skills
• 10-hour OSHA Training

Certifications:

• National Career Readiness Certification
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• 10-hour OSHA Training
