Learn Basic Construction Skills!
Our 900-hour program provides entry-level skills in a wide variety of construction topics through classroom training, hands-on lab training and project site hands-on learning.
Instructor: Don Adams
Participants earn National Center for Construction Education and Research, Construction Technology certification and complete 10 hours of OSHA Safety.
Topics taught include but are not limited to:
- Basic Construction Safety
- Floors and Walls
- Hand Tools /Power Tools
- Blueprints/Site Layout
- Masonry
- Ceiling and Roofing
- Windows, Doors, and Siding
- Residential Wiring/Basic Electricity
- Basic Plumbing
- Furnaces – Gas, Electric, etc.
- Insulating/Comfort & Economy
- Resume Preparation/Interview Skills
- 10-hour OSHA Training

Certifications:
- National Career Readiness Certification
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- 10-hour OSHA Training
