The Guidance Department at ACWHCC provides the following services for high school students:

• Enrolls new students
• Conducts the sophomore recruitment programming, presentations and visitations
• Coordinates and conducts 8th grade tours
• Provides academic counseling and advising for all students
• Is the liaison between ACWHCC and home school guidance departments
• Does class scheduling and credit checks for all students
• Monitors failure issues for all students
• Refers students to school and community liaison for personal counseling as needed
• Refers students to AYUDAME Help Center for tutoring services as needed
• Provides college selection, application and testing information
• Oversees National Technical Honor Society organization activities
